THE TWO OCEAN WAR by Samuel Eliot Morison A SHORT HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES NAVY IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR Published by Little, Brown and Company in 1963 - First Edition This book is an excellant history of The United States Navy in World War II based upon the author's incredible fifteen-volume History of United States Naval Operations in World War II published in 1947-62, totallly rewritten with 52 charts and 25 pages of photographs. The book is in very good condition; the spine is tight and the cover is clean with minor scuffing and/or bumping. The pages are clear and sharp. The dust jacket is unclipped with minor chipping and tears (some taped), and in good to very good condition. This book is fascinating and would be a must in any military book collection. The book is about 6-1/2" x 9-1/2" x 2", 611 pages, and about 3-4 lbs.+/- with packaging.
