This is an extreme rare antique poker book. I was doing some research on it and some sources say 1886 and other sources say 1913. It contains 30 pages and measures 5” x 4”. It is an early primer on draw poker. I tried to take many clear pictures to show the condition. The cover and back are still attached but you can see that that the cover is barely holding on along the spine where the staples are. But the color of the cover is still vibrant. Would be a great addition to anyone collecting poker books, antique books, ephemeral of Americana.

Scarce 1970 proof copy in plain soft wraps with handwritten title, includes the full Wodehouse preface prepared for this reprint edition. Early Barrie & Jenkins proofs were produced in very small numbers and rarely surface. Very good condition soft wraps with expected handling wear, handwritten title, clean text, solid for a proof. Complete with preface. Published by Barrie & Jenkins, London 1970. A rare proof state Wodehouse title.
