Hardcover First American Edition, later printing (1909 to 1917) of Beatrix Potter's "Ginger & Pickles." Frederick Warne & Co, New York. Olive green paper covered boards are stamped in green with color pastedown in the shape of a shop window, rubbing to edges and cover. Binding is quite good for its age; although several interior pages open at the spine, the pages are not loose. One page has a creasing where the binding glue was a bit offset, but otherwise no tears, folds, or creases to the pages. There are some smudges or stains on most printed pages (the majority of them are light). Color prints are in very good condition. Please inspect all photos before purchase; the photographs are part of the description.
Most of the books have never been cracked open and are in like new condition. A couple have been read but are still in very good condition. The box has been repaired with tape on 2 edges and the back of the box has a small dent see last 3 pictures.
