Library of Congress and the Interior Decorations, a Practical Guide for Visitors with descriptions of all the paintings and sculptures, the wall quotations, floor plans and sixteen interior views from photographs, by Charles B Reynolds, c. 1897. This book contains incredible details about decoration of the Library of Congress. There's an index of artists, printers' marks, detailed descriptions of the art/design. The book has about 15 pages in the beginning with photographs on front and back, followed by about 29 pages with descriptions/text. The cover has beautiful, bright gold gilt text. There is some wear to covers. Covers well attached but there is some loosening at spine at very top. Book measures 8.25" x just over 5.5". Be sure to visit my store for more hard to find books!
