The image shows the cover of a 1966 exhibition catalog titled "3 Self-Taught Pennsylvania Artists: Hicks, Kane, Pippin". It features the work of three self-taught artists from Pennsylvania: Edward Hicks: (1780-1849), was an American folk painter and Quaker minister. John Kane: (1860-1934), was a Scottish-born American folk art painter. Horace Pippin: (1888-1946), was an African-American folk painter. The catalog was published by the Museum of Art, Carnegie Institute in Pittsburgh in 1967. It includes 121 black and white and color plates of the artists' work. Some light sun damage to front cover & spine but overall a nice copy with some extras (see pics).
