This 1898 copy of the Arabian nights by Andrew Lang is in good condition. The front binding is cracked, but holding. All pages are intact and none are missing. On the front page the owner inscribed her name, “ Marcia, Gayle Fee, St.Paul Minn.” She was the daughter of Charles Sumner Fee—the prominent Gilded Age Passenger Traffic Manager for the Southern Pacific Railroad. I tried to photograph all damage. I will provide additional photos upon request. Reasonable offers would be considered. Catalog #108 From the estate library of San Francisco artist Marcia Gayle Fee, daughter of Southern Pacific Railroad executive Charles Sumner Fee.
