Original 1867 hardcover in the original green cloth binding. Complete with all 16 original hand-colored botanical plates. The book contains an early presentation inscription that appears to read, “H. G. Eldredge, Esq., with the Author’s kind regards.” There is also a light pencil notation from a previous owner or bookseller, not added by me. Condition: The text block is detached from the binding, but the book is complete with all pages and plates present. Light age toning, foxing, and wear consistent with its age. Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description. Sold as is.
