The Gentlemen’s Magazine was published in the U. K. for 200 years and was a very popular digest style reader. It ceased publication in 1922. Various articles, stories, etc. were occasionally bound into small hardcovers. This is a collection from 1814. Overall condition, especially when considering its age, is easily good+ or a bit better. 343 pages, unmarked, light tone, clean, an occasional small spot. The binding is good. The exterior has edge wear and shelf wear. Book measures 8.5” x 5.75”. The book is still very readable and entertaining. There’s a section on letters between important people and another section on odd happenings, crime, etc..
